Buena Park Sign Can Be Part Of Web Design

Buena Park Web Design

Buena Park Web Design for small business and professionals.

Are you looking for a local Buena Park web designer? I mean local as in having the ability to stop by your location if needed. I noticed a lot of places touting local Buena Park web design aren’t really close enough to stop in to lend a helping hand. For many years I lived right next door to Buena Park, now I’m just across the county line. Still close enough to stop by if I need to help out with content creation or other, boots on the ground promotions.

What kind of websites do I build?

I primarily build Minimum Viable Websites. These are informational websites to be used as a foundation for building later functionality as the business and website grow. These are the basic 5 to 7 page websites that have traditionally been the backbone of small business website marketing.

In addition I also offer a website support and growth package tailored to each business. This is meant to grow the website over time into an asset that increases traffic and makes money. Some of the additional services I provide also include online as well as offline marketing.

Why work with a Buena Park web design service provider?

As mentioned I can actually come into your location. This can be an advantage if you need additional help with media and content creation. Being in the Buena Park area also allows me to develop new marketing solutions that can be strictly local. I am always running little experiments with my own businesses, those that work get incorporated into my customer’s marketing mix. We test then iterate until we find a winning combination. I do this because marketing channels have changed over the last ten years. I think everyone who follows trends and changes expects to see a hyper acceleration of change in the marketing landscape over the next three years.

Helping With Web Design The Buena Park City Hall sign

I know what a lot of small business owners are thinking. Hey, I think I can build a website, I think I’ll do it myself. After all, how hard can it be? This is a common scenario and quite often one of two things happen.

First it’s harder than you think.
The first obstacle I see the Do It Yourself website builder face is that it’s harder than it looks. Even the drag and drop site builders can be confusing. Then you get into a more flexible solution like WordPress and you have a lot more decisions to make. First is doing the basic configuration. Then picking what add-on software you need. In WordPress the add-ons are called Plugins. There are over 60,000 plugins on the official WordPress repository. All of these decisions can be classified as shopping costs. After you find a plugin you want to use, you need to determine if it needs configuration. If so, that needs to be done and then there is sometimes the need to actually learn how to use the plugin. You can learn some of this through my website build videos I post to the blog section.

The same thing with themes and templates. Themes are more complex than they used to be. You often need to learn how to configure the theme and implement its features. On the good side, most modern themes don’t need you to build a child theme for customization. This last point does make building sites easier.

Do you have extra time for DIY web design?

The second obstacle to the DIY website is it takes time and requires effort.
The Second problem I see is that most small business owners are busy people. They don’t have a lot of extra time to devote to learning new software, web design, and doing website maintenance. What I’ve seen is they don’t even do the mandatory and basic backup and maintenance of their business computers. If they’re not doing essential business computer maintenance, it’s unlikely they will do website maintenance. They have a business to run and fires to put out. No matter how good your processes are, there will always be something that needs extra attention.

Effort almost always equals cost and building a website takes effort.

There is a direct correlation between how much effort is needed to accomplish a task and how motivated we are to do it. The more effort that’s required the more motivation we need to get it done. Ability also plays into the equation. If we have a great deal of ability, it reduces the perceived effort needed to accomplish the task. In other words, It becomes easier. Knowing which buttons to push makes website design easier to do. People who do web design simply have more experience pushing those buttons and moving around the software interface. Usually small business owners have a higher level of ability to hire someone to build a website than the ability to actually build it themselves. Ability is a huge factor in accomplishing a goal.

There are other website design issues that are more subtle but can also lead to problems.

So, just being an efficient button pusher isn’t enough, a website designer also needs to know about project management, customer conversion, SEO site structure, content best practices, hosting, and at least a little about marketing. There is a website gestalt that needs to be reached. A website needs to be more than the sum of its parts.

A lot of people who aren’t familiar with computers, technology, and learning new software find building a website quite frustrating. While a website build can seem perplexing, we help clarify the process while reducing the needed effort.

I can help you out of the quagmire of no time and confusing tech with Buena Park web design. To enhance and develop the site over time I combine web design with a support and growth package. I do the web work so you don’t have to.
