I am doing two new SEO (Search Engine Optimization) experiments. I used to be quite active at working to get and maintain search engine ranking. After being successful at building digital marketing workflows and assets then losing them, I became a bit disenchanted. Now that I am once again back at helping others with marketing, which includes digital, I am back at testing and experimenting.

I think the near future is going to get very messy with artificial intelligence working its way into every aspect of marketing.
The first SEO experiment is not working so well for Google search, but it does look like it is getting traction with Bing.
The second experiment is perhaps the most interesting. I have learnt that two of the variables I tested and that have worked in the past with Google search still seem to have an influence on ranking. Interestingly enough I’ve read that one of these factors Google has said is no longer a large ranking factor. This is something that will need further testing.
Through these tests I am now reconsidering how I thought the Microsoft search engine Bing works.
Both of these are ongoing experiments and will develop over time.
