Join My On The Road Network Resistance and Fight the Megaverse (Metaverse)
The video is set in the distant future, at a time when the Mega Metaverse controls the matrix. It’s a time of Shining, Blinking Wonder.
This post is a fictional depiction of a time in the future when megas, the megacorporations, control the internet. A time when individuals and small businesses lose their ability to effectively distribute content on the internet without becoming slaves to the megas. A time when the Meta Megas control your thoughts and behavior. They make you do things you would not otherwise do. A time when the Megas control the thoughts of the country. It is a bit of a parody of the coming metaverse.

This video was somewhat inspired by my friend Scott over at BuyWise Mortgage and a video thumbnail he was using. I thought it was very YouTube silly. His reply was that it was done that way to “stop the scroll.” Which is good marketing. I’m sure I am in the minority. But, I don’t like those cheesy thumbnails. While I don’t like them, I am sure I’m guilty of making and using them. In Fact, I am thinking of experimenting with this kind of thumbnail once again in the near future for a video about marketing. While I do plan on using them, I don’t like them.
After thinking about the video channels I like the best and examining what they have on their channels I noticed they don’t spend much time making YouTube-esque thumbnails. They have content I enjoy and I watch.
Video discovery is a problem on YouTube. Sure the Mega feeds you what they want you to see. They manipulate algorithms to manipulate your behavior and thoughts as well as the behavior of creators. Is that really what you want? If a creator I enjoy also has a Vimeo channel I’ll usually watch content on that platform. If they have video on their website, I like to watch it there. That is, unless they have lots of flashing, popping, blinking, sliding, Interstitials that makes consuming content on their site rather aversive.

This is a special report from the internet, I’m the computer.
We have information that big internet companies are making it more difficult to reach your customers. The megaverse is building systems to hold small businesses hostage to paying for protection. In addition they are enabling big businesses to kill off small businesses that can’t pay.
Mega corporations have made it so no matter what you say or how well you say it you will always be white noise and scrolled past.
Here is what you look like when trusting your branding and message to Mega corporations.
We have determined the best way to break through the noise is to form community groups that can support each other.
Local community groups have proven to be effective in combating megas in the past. They may be our only hope now.

How to resist the Mega Metaverse
You can fight the Megaverse by forming community groups that transcend the megas and support each other in the spirit of cooperating. Some of the ideas about how cooperation can outperform total competition with your neighbors and industry come from the work of W. Edwards Deming and also can be found in the story about “Heaven’s Banquet and the difference between heaven and hell.”
Human connections of cooperation are little cells of resistance to total mega meta mind control.
